Salt Fork YMCA Guest/Day Pass Policy

The Salt Fork YMCA is a membership organization with facilities and equipment provided for use by annual dues paying members.  While we encourage individuals to be members of the YMCA, non-members may use the Salt Fork YMCA facility.

GUEST & DAY PASS POLICIES

Guest Passes: Adult Salt Fork YMCA members are entitled to bring in 2 guests each year. Guests are limited to two free visits per year, must sign the guest pass form, and submit a picture ID to the Front Desk upon entering the facility. A maximum of two guests per YMCA Membership is allowed to use the facility at a time and members must accompany their guests at all times. Unless otherwise noted, Guest Passes DO NOT include class participation. Members with out-of-town guests should contact the Front Staff for special guest privileges. At busy times, the YMCA reserves the right to limit guest usage. Guests needing Childwatch or Kid’s Gym will need to pay $6 per child for these services. The Sauna is reserved for member use only, but guests are welcome to use the pool.

Day Passes: Community Members are welcome to use the facility by means of a day pass up to six times each year. They must present a picture ID and must sign the day pass form at the Front Desk. Unless otherwise noted, Day Passes DO NOT include class participation. At busy times, the YMCA reserves the right to limit day pass usage. Guests needing Childwatch or Kid’s Gym will need to pay $6 per child for these services. Daily fees cover the use of the facilities, including open swim/lap swim, open gym, and the walking track; schedule and age restrictions apply. Children under 10 years old must have direct supervision by a parent/guardian 14 years or older while using the facility. Because of the training needed to use our Cybex and cardiovascular equipment, daily guest must show knowledge of the equipment before use of the equipment; schedule and age restrictions apply. The Sauna is reserved for member use only, but day pass purchasers are welcome to use the pool.
Day Pass Fees: Youth:  $6 (17 and under)     Adult:  $10

AWAY Members: The Salt Fork YMCA is part of the AWAY program (Always Welcome at YMCA’s) and your membership is good at other participating YMCA’s.  Most of the YMCA’s that participate in this program will admit you to their facility either for free or at a reduced rate, if you show your membership card.  If you are planning a trip, don’t forget to take your membership card that has the “AWAY” symbol already printed on the back.

Visiting members from other YMCA’s are welcome to use our YMCA.  We will honor the membership you have at your YMCA.  There is a maximum of 10 visits each year for AWAY YMCA members.  If you will be residing in Saline County for military, college, or short-term work assignments, please contact Kelsey Mumm, Membership Director so that we may accommodate your longer stay.

Reciprocal Membership: We want to encourage members to utilize the Y as often as they can. Sometimes, it's more convenient for members to utilize a Y in a different location when traveling, near a work place or in another area. Now, full facility/full privilege YMCA members have the flexibility to use other Y facilities throughout the state of Missouri at no extra charge. Visitors to other Y's must present a valid YMCA membership card and photo ID upon their first visit and complete the appropriate paperwork.
